Legacy of Kevin L. Moore
Kevin L. Moore is the founder of Eco-Pro, a company born from a big dream, hard work and never-ending dedication. Kevin, a native of Fauquier County, VA, was a resident of Frederick County, VA for most of his life. He spent his youth working at a local farm, where he developed his incredible work ethic and his love for the outdoors. He joined the ARMY in 1994, where he served for ten years. He stated numerous times that he loved God, Family, the ARMY and his country. Anyone that knew Kevin knew that he took immense pride in being an American.
Kevin began a career in the pest management field in his early twenties and worked for several companies until deciding that the pull to open his own company was one he could no longer ignore. Kevin began Eco-Pro in 2007, where he worked hard every day to see that it, not just succeeded, but thrived. He logged hours upon hours; toiled over the right thing at the right time; went without things he wanted and pushed through everything that was constantly demanding his attention. Kevin worked hard every day and maintained a work ethic that remains unmatched. He would say "God gave me these two hands and the ability to work, which is exactly what I'm going to do." Kevin never backed down, gave in or quit because he simply did not have it in him to do so. He was exactly the same in his personal life maintaining steadfastness, strength, loyalty and fearlessness. He lived BIG and loved even BIGGER. If you had the honor of being loved by Kevin you knew you had something special.
Kevin was so many things to so many. He was a son, brother, friend, father and loving husband. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing anything with wheels. He was a jokester, who enjoyed nothing more than to make someone smile and laugh. Kevin never met a stranger and made everyone who met him feel as if they were the most important person in the world.
On October 27, 2018 Kevin L. Moore passed away suddenly leaving his family, friends, employees and customers reeling from the devastating loss. It was and continues to be a shock to all who knew him. The outpouring of love from everyone has been nothing short of amazing and is what spurs us on in our darkest hours.
Eco-Pro is continuing to move forward, honoring Kevin, by keeping his legacy alive. It will not be without adjustments, nor will it be from any one singular motivation. It will be by the strength of the tribe that Kevin, his family and Eco-Pro has encompassed over time. The future holds for us a journey, a path that he started and one we will continue to follow.
